If you ever wondered what happens when a designer runs on way too much caffeine and spends months obsessing over every little detail (like finding the perfect shade of blue) - well, the redesign is your answer.

‍

Over the past few months, we’ve spent days (and let’s be honest, plenty of nights) working on every tiny detail to bring you the redesign of Theneo. Spoiler alert: we think it was worth every sip of coffee.

‍

I’ve been a part of multiple redesigns over the past few years, but this one with Theneo? It feels really personal. Everything was crafted with special care. There were  many moments of “What if we tried this?..”, but seeing the final result live reminds me why I love what I do.

‍

What was the need for this redesign?

‍

Realizing that your product may be falling behind can be tough, but it’s a necessary step for growth. The truth is, your product experience suffers if you never do it.

‍

As our user base grew, so did their expectations. We’ve gathered a significant amount of user insights. Then we’ve identified key pain points, usability challenges, and opportunities to make the experience smoother and more enjoyable.

‍

What can we expect from the redesign?

‍

We didn’t just want to make a few small tweaks; we aimed to create a completely fresh look. This isn’t just our typical launch, it’s a huge release, complete with new branding and a streamlined user journey. Some highlights include:

‍

  • A brand-new visual identity: new colors, typography, and an updated logo
  • Interactive onboarding flow
  • A sleeker, faster, and more intuitive dashboard
  • New look of our published documentation
  • A collaborative real-time editor with powerful widgets for API documentation
  • An improved changelog that detects updates, including breaking changes, and allows users to subscribe to notifications for any updates

‍

Next steps

‍

Now since we’ve launched the product, we’re entering one of the most exciting phases: gathering feedback and continuing to improve. By listening to our users and analyzing results, we’ll keep evolving and enhancing the user experience.

‍

And trust me, we're just getting started! We still have plenty of ideas and exciting features in mind to work on next.

‍

A huge thanks to my amazing team ❤️

Teamwork and collaboration was at the heart of this process. I worked closely with our product, engineering and testing teams to ensure that every new flow and component truly worked for our users. Through countless prototyping and testing rounds, we faced challenges together and fine-tuned our designs.

‍

Now it's time to see how Theneo’s updates perform in the real-world. 🚀
